A Regulator’s Perspective on Current Affairs -- Unplugged

From 12 to 1 for presentation but come at 11:30 to "chat" and stay until 1:30 to "hang around the podium!"

How will regulators respond to the pandemic?

How will state and federal regulators treat ROEs, market rules, depressed load, and deferred accounts?

What will be the long-term impacts on the logistics of regulatory hearings, testimony and settlement discussions?

How are environmental and renewable objectives going to change?

Hear from Paula Conboy who provides a North American and International perspective on how regulators will have to grapple with the current state of affairs.  Paula has served as a Board member of the Ontario Energy Board, recently chaired the Australian Energy Commission, and currently is a board member of Singapore’s Energy Market Authority. She has issued landmark decisions on regulated returns on equity, major changes to market rules, and integrated gas and electricity markets. Recently returning to North America, she can offer an unfiltered regulator’s perspective . . . unplugged.
