Join us for an overview of how the energy industry is affected by environmental regulations and policy.  Experienced presenters will give an overview of environmental regulations pertinent to the industry, and then review applicability to energy development, industry compliance and asset transactions. This seminar is geared for those new to the environmental industry, as well as individuals in the energy industry who would like to gain a better understanding of environmental regulations and policy applicable to energy.

In addition to an overview of relevant regulations, speakers will incorporate real-life examples of the application of these regulations to projects that have been in the news in recent years.  Learn how the environmental regulatory process operates at local, state and federal levels for new projects, for existing operational facilities, and for facilities needing repair or upgrades.  Just as our understanding of the environment is constantly growing, and technological advances are made throughout society, the environmental regulatory process has evolved since the early days of some landmark legislation, such as the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and CERCLA/RCRA.  Ample time will be provided in all the sessions for audience questions, so come prepared to test the knowledge of our expert presenters.
